Digitekno´s opt-in customers register for newsletter campaigns and other relatable marketing activities.
4. The purpose of the register
Digitekno can use the data stored in the register in connection with its newsletter campaigns and other related marketing activities targeting its customers that have opted-in and those whose work is related to topics included in such activities.
5. Content of the register
The register includes contact information related to Digitekno´s marketing activities and other prospect relationships. The following contact data may be stored in the register:
- Name
- E-mail address
- Telephone number
- Company or organization the person is working on behalf of.
6. Regular sources of information
Personal data is collected from the data subjects themselves or from publicly available resources by Digitekno or its representative in connection with the mutual or prospected co-operation. Maintaining personal data is done by Digitekno´s personnel mostly manually, but in some cases automatically.
7. Regular destinations and transfer of data
The personal data is not transferred outside Digitekno unless specifically agreed upon the transfer with the data subject, or unless Finnish public authorities so demand. In general, the data will not be transferred to countries outside European Union or European Economic Area, unless specifically agreed upon the transfer with the data subject.
8. Removal of personal data
Any personal data concerning an individual may be removed according to the request of the individual in concern. Such requests are assigned to the e-mail address mentioned in sections 1 and 2.
9. The principles for the security of the data file and register
The security of the data files complies with Finnish law and Digitekno’s data protection practices. The personal data will be processed only by specified Digitekno employees, and access to the digital register is solely trusted to employees who are required to know the personal data due to e.g. their work tasks (need-to-know basis).
10. Data Subjects’ Rights
An individual is entitled to have access to the registration data concerning him or her in the register at any time without pretext. An individual is also entitled to forbid the release of any his or her personal data for the purposes of direct advertising and other related activities.
